World Book Day:

World Book Day, also known as World Book and Copyright Day, is an annual celebration of books and the joy of reading. It is observed every year on April 23 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to foster reading and is marked by activities encouraging a culture of reading across all ages.

World Book Day 2022: Theme

The theme for 2022 was “You are a reader” as World Book Day celebrated its silver jubilee year in the United Kingdom and Ireland on March 3. The message conveyed is that children from all walks of life should have a fair shot at education through reading.
Books were offered for just £1 and the day was marked by competitions, events and other kinds of celebration.
