Is Gold purchase on PhonePe safe?

I was quite impressed by the concept of Phonepe's digital gold. I just want to have an overview of how it works. Is it safe to invest in PhonePe's Gold services.

It's a fucking bad decision ..

Let me tell u my story with phonepe gold

At beginning I just purchased 1 rs gold (for timepass)

Later I purchased 50 rs gold just to check how do they calculate gold sell price

Then when I tried to sell gold it was about 46.54 rs

I know about 3% gst on buying and selling gold that sums up to 6%

But listen heres the catch

Even of you calculate 6% on 51 rs it's 3.06 rs that means the gold which u buyed at rs 51 rs will be sold in 47.94 rs .

But but phonepe will show u the selling price of 46.54 rs (1.39 rs ) difference and there's one more thing.

Even if you tried to buy that 46.54 rs gold it will not allow showing some reason like max amount blah blah blah…

And you have to sell that gold now in 46.53rs (again 0.01 difference)

So you can say 1.40 rs goes to Phonepe even after saying they don't charge any amount :(

I can say only one thing it's a total SCAM
